WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

1. DESIGN BRIEF

Orrigem focuses more on the design brief to outline the desired result of the project, which is intended to achieve! This is usually achieved by either a face-to-face meeting with the client, a questionnaire (on- or off-line), or even a Skype meeting.

With this brief, we try to understand our client’s objectives and focus on the details for inclusion in the brief. Although it may seem like more work than necessary, a design brief has a couple of key benefits, no matter how big or small the project seems to you. It includes understanding Corporate Profile, Market Position, Communication Task, Target Market, Objectives and Schedule/Deadline

2. RESEARCH

After we meet our client and have a firm understanding of the task at hand, its time to do our research. After reviewing the materials given to us, we start our research. This phase usually entails taking into account competitors, market trends, product/service differentiators, the history of the business, and the future of it as well.

This stage isn’t usually going to be your favorite, but it’s well worth it in the end. There’s nothing worse than creating a beautiful website only to discover it’s quite similar to a competitor’s. You’ll reap the rewards of the time you put into research, trust us.

3. STRATEGY / CONCEPTUALISATION

Our Creativity is our key to success!
Our designers concerned with the graphics style and image to convey a deep meaning to your target audience. This step may vary depending on the scale of your project, but it’s best to develop a strategy before putting pencil to paper. Through this, we analyze the research gathered and decide on the design and functionality criteria. Brainstorming is one of the key processes here and with this we make sure to deliver a unique Website design that adds a dimension to the best user experience and to the whole identity. After All, we are working to provide a unique identity to your business.

4. DESIGN

When the visual design cycle starts, our designers uses the content and wireframes to design pixel-perfect mockups for the client.
Web designers develop a landing page for the website, as well as an inner web page to demonstrate near-precise colour, font-sizes and precise placement of all the navigation and content elements.
Once the client has had a chance to look over the initial designs, he has the opportunity to provide feedback or request changes. The designer continues the process of fine-tuning the design with the client’s approval.

5. DEVELOPMENT

With designs approved by the client, it’s time to flesh out the design of the pages, develop new content and refine old content, create videos, slideshows and other media that will appear on the website.
It also involves coding, validation, cross-platform and browser testing.
In this phase, designers create demo installation, so that the client may view and interact with the web pages as they are being developed.

6. LAUNCH

Here comes the big day!
In this phase, designers run through a final set of tests to be sure that everything is functional. As soon as the site has been tested, reviewed and approved by all those involved in the project, it’s time to launch the website for the viewing public.
Once the website is launched, monitoring it for user feedback is very important and also based on that necessary adjustments are made.

7. MAINTAIN

This last and final step of web design is often overlooked by clients, website maintenance is important for the long-term health and success of a website, as well as a source of potential recurring revenue.

The website has long-term responsibilities. Just like owning a car or house, a website will need upkeep and maintenance. Just like owning a car or house, a website will need upkeep and maintenance. A maintenance package based on user selection is provided to take website maintenance tasks from our clients. Website maintenance can also extend into other areas of website upkeep such as SEO, adding new content or updating existing content, comment approval/replies, spam cleanup and more.

COMMUNICATION | Essential and crucial for any business

BRAND COLLATERAL DESIGN PROCESS

The Design Brief

Collateral Branding is needed as a necessity to put your company up by a notch. Stationery design, Brochures and Flyers will add that wow factor to your logo and maintain your brand’s equity higher than others. It’s important to have a design (or creative) brief if the brand identity project is bigger than one designer doing work for a small local business. A design brief contains summaries from the research phase, such as: target audience(s), messaging objectives, values and mission of the brand, and the brand’s products/services offering. It should also include budget, project schedule, file formats for delivery, and other practical needs.

BRAINSTORM

This is hands-down the most laborious stage. It takes time, energy, and manpower. But it is crucial to build the foundation upon which the visual language will stand. In this stage, we learn everything we can about a brand. This research helps us create a brand persona, a comprehensive picture of what the brand is. We don’t work alone; our customers work side by side with us. We work on combo designs as well and are efficient in creating one. Our highly skilled team of designers conducts brainstorming sessions and takes clients’ advice as sacred. Furthermore, they sketch an initial design and then reach upon consent.

INITIAL DESIGNS

By this time, we have a ton of information to help inform ideation. Between competitive analysis, customer feedback, and internal surveys, it’s a lot of data on paper. This is where we take that text-based information and translate it into visual concepts. Once the designers start working on the project, they’d be constantly in touch with the clients regarding the choice of colors, images and much more. For collateral branding to work, the design we create maintains a consistency among all the tools being used for enhanced branding.

FEEDBACKS

Change is good and with your feedbacks it leads to a much more refined product. Once the designers create their designs, the designs are sent to the client for evaluation and let the designers know if any changes are meant to be made. The designers at Orrigem are highly proficient in making those changes and delivering the final designs to match the branding needs of the clients.

DELIVERY

The last step is the cherry on top of the cake. The final designs can be delivered to you via multiple platforms i.e. through email or sharing platforms. The designs are being provided in multiple formats and sizes so that it can be used in various marketing techniques. Three words can easily summarize the most important step of the entire procedure; finalized, delivered and downloaded.
